Eric J. Willoughby is a founding member of Willoughby Shulman Injury Lawyers. Eric was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is a graduate of Bishop Gorman High School. He attended the University of San Diego, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Following his undergraduate studies, he earned his Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law and returned to Las Vegas to begin his law career.
Eric began his law career as a law clerk for the Honorable Joseph T. Bonaventure and the Honorable Elissa F. Cadish. He went on to practice insurance defense for a prominent Nevada law firm. During this time, he gained valuable insight as to how insurance companies work. Eric then joined one of Nevada’s preeminent personal injury law firms where he utilized this experience in his representation of injured victims. Eric and Steve Shulman then formed Willoughby Shulman Injury Lawyers.
Eric has been licensed to practice law in Nevada since 2006. He is a member of the Nevada Justice Association, and has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star. Eric is also a member of the exclusive Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, organizations reserved for attorneys who have obtained million dollar and multi-million dollar recoveries on behalf of their clients.
Eric’s practice includes all aspects of personal injury, including, but not limited to, automobile collisions, premises liability, animal attacks, products liability, wrongful death and medical malpractice cases.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, as well as playing golf, hiking and biking.
